As my fellow IT industry peers I’m extremely curious in knowing what methods everyone uses to keep their knowledge/education/skills up to the challenge of our ever changing industry — especially now with the lackluster job market in our field.
One thing that I guess makes me well suited for this field — I actually *ENJOY* learning. I am starting a 8 week course from a Cisco authorized training partner soon (October), on top of that I am also considering self-paced learning from globalknowledge, and on top of THAT…I muck around with my home network and tons of books I have.
I just wonder how other IT folks keep up to date. We always here about the skills we each have…I’m curious on how folks got (or keep) those skills.
