how do you turn off CISVC.EXE

By harvardd ·
Where in windows 2000 professional can you go to turn on or turn off services.

The CISVC.EXE is running all the time, as it should, but I want to turn it off. When I use the Task Manager, to end the process, I get a ?Access Denied ? Message. So how do I turn off the CISVC.EXE.?

have you tried stopping the service in Computer management under administrative tools? Or you can go to a dos prompt and type "net stop cisvc".
Hope this works....
