I have recently developed a software using VB 6.0 as frontend and Access2000 as backend for the health care community named “Clinic Management Software”.
How do i cost the software as it is for the first time that such software is to be made “free” for health care professionals.(Idea is unique as just 3Mb in size !). The Source code will be opened as well!
I have got offers from healthcare portals asking me to “quote a price” as they are willing to buy the software along with the source code. I am also supposed to lend support for customisation and bug fixes if any for which I am ready.
The software is developed using 5 programmers for front end and 2 for back end.The softwarehas taken me 6 months each day amounting to approx 10 hours per programmer along with my time and resources.
Can you please help me with quotations or suggestions (Technical Language )which can help me in finalizing the deal.I shall appreciate if you could lend me a helping hand and the strong shoulders of techrepublic to design the format of the quotation.
