How does one read a ".MSG" attachment?

By SailorCharles ·
Time marches on and change happens.

Outlook Express has gone long live Office Live.

For people without "Outlook" what provision is there for them to open an e-mail attachment that is an outlook e-mail? i.e. the attachment is XXXXX.msg?

(I know that there are various "readers" available and perhaps a separate question would be which one has the smallest footprint?

For now the question is:

How do users of "Windows Live Mail" open a .msg attachment?

Thank you

Thank you

Dear PurpleSkys,

Please accept my apologies for not saying "Thank You" much sooner..

I found the link to be very helpful ~ in particular the reviews and suggested alternatives.

Suffice it to say, the problem has gone away BUT the link has been remembered.
