I’m purchasing a server for an application we will be hosting on Windows 2000 server. It runs on SQL and IIS. THe application is an online purchasing system that will host at least 200 users to start. My question is, how big does my server have to be? Where are the specs for how many users a server will support?
Here is the current config. I’m looking at:
Rack-mount Gateway
Dual PIII at 850Mhz
1GB of memory
4 9GB hard drives with RAID 1
How much traffic would this support? I appreciate any and all comments!!
