My PC has an Optiarc AD-7173A DVD RW drive. It makes a really loud noise when I play DVDs with it. I want to slow down the drive speed to lessen the noise. The only way I have found is to use AnyDVD… unfortunately I cannot afford the subscription fee. Nero Drivespeed doesn’t work on my PC (Vista OS).
Does anyone know of a way to slow down my drive other than the above described methods?
