While a long way from definitive proof that money is good or evil in and of itself, this particular study is of interest to me. Money is a convenience that allows us to do things with our time that don’t directly relate to our survival (lowest level/s of Mazlow’s hierarchy stuff).
Should further study pan out, and money be determined to so directly infuence mood and pain as this study suggests, I wonder, is this an evolutionary adaptation that will take us down, a fluke of remarkable consequence, or a sigificant statement about minds consumed by near-irrelevant things?
Yeah, it’s getting heavy and predictable in the political threads… 😀 😀 😀
