How? Quickly Rebuild Domain Controller

by ttee80 . Updated 25 years, 3 months ago

How can I quickly rebuild a domain controller after adding an additional HDD and consolidate the data drives D, E, and F to D? Primarily use is as a domain controller and file server. Backup SW is BackupExec with approx 65G of data. Are there registry keys I can use to simplify the rebuild task? Main applications on server are BackupExec, Server Protect, NT Option Pack 4.0 ( IIS ). Steps planning to use are: full backup, listed shares via DumpACL, snap shots of all FTP virtural directories, break array, add additional HDD, rebuild server with standard configuration with only C & D drives, restore D partition data to D, restore E & F partitions to D, recreate shares according to DumpACL listing, recreate FTP virtural directories. Isthere a better way?
