Would appreciate anyone’s advise on how to remove the “read-only” attribute from about 5,000 word/excel files.
I’ve just restored these files archived from my CD-RW back to my C:\ hard drive, but file that all 5,000 files are now “read-only”!
Pls advise if there’s an automated way to remove this “read-only” attribute from my restored back-up data files… (don’t want to do this manually for each of my 5,00+ files!)
Fyi, i’m using Windows’98se, so can also use DOS command prompt (any tips on this also welcome)…
