How to access my linux server using network places?

i installed samba... i can see my linux server (fedora 5)in the network places (on windows xp)but when i double click it says can't access check permission, etc.
what else do i need to do on the linux server?

Sorry I just realised that the above sounds a bit harsh it wasn't intended that way It's just getting late here and I'm more than a bit tired I was actually trying to be brief not trying to look as if I was jumping on you.

You need to share the Data Partition and then enable password bypass if this is enabled. What type of Server are you trying to setup here?

If it's a File Server the steps are different to a Mail Server and to be quite honest I haven't used FC5 so the directions for FC4 will most likely be slightly different and depend on what services you have running.
