WE purchased our server with 10 client licenses. We have only 1 server-based application, Lotus cc:Mail.
Through growth, we have added users. At this point, the first 10 users can get into the mail system. I need to expand the client licenses.I e mailed the manufacturer (forget about calling, they never pick up) and received a request for information. Basically, I told the responding party just what I said above, yet I still haven't received a return response.
I called a software distributor, but they were trying to sell me a paper license for additional users, and couldn't understand that each workstation is a Win 9X station.
At this point, the only thing I can think of is to purchase a Windows 2000 Professional upgrade with 25 licenses.
Is there any easier way to do this?

Question? How many NT server licenses do you own? I am assuming that you set up the server as a per server license, thus only letting the first 10 to access the server or get authenticated? How many users do you have? Have you looked into the License Manager on your NT Server machine (PDC)? It is in there that you would specify the number of users you have and such. Let me know some more info, as to the above? Smurfman
YOU CAN USE LICENSE MANAGER IN THE CONTROL PANEL TO INCREASE THE NUMBER OF "PER SERVER" LICENSES. YOU CAN INCREASE THE NUMBER SIGNIFICANTLY WITH OR WITHOUT THE PIECE OF PAPER. THE PAPER MAKES IT LEGAL.
If you're asking for technical help, please be sure to include all your system info, including operating system, model number, and any other specifics related to the problem. Also please exercise your best judgment when posting in the forums--revealing personal information such as your e-mail address, telephone number, and address is not recommended.
