I am trying to configure tcp port 1984 on my router. 1984 is the BigBrother monitoring port and in order to monitor our Router I was told we need to open up port 1984. Our Big Brother server is located on a network which has a firewall. Do I need to open up port 1984 on the firewall and the router both?
And if I do need to open up the port on the router, do I also have to put a ip access-group out/in statement on one of the routers interface? Thks for any help.
