How to be a Authorized Dealer for Compu Products

By bhavanisgreat ·
I have been in Computer Hardware-Networking Field since last 6-7 years.
So, I have decided that apart from Service i should go for Sales and Support.

Personally i like to prefer Branded Items..
But the problem is that though i was under IT Field i m totally unaware on Sales Side.

So can any one guide that how do i become an Authorized Dealer / Seller of Branded PC's like (HCL, IBM, HP-Compaq, Dell, etc., etc) and related peripherals.

Thanks in advance

Well I suppose you should contact the Accounts Department of this place

And ask for a Account Application Form.

After all I do not know of a company on the face of the planet who will refuse to have someone slave their guts out to promote them and can be dumped at a moments notice when they have built up a big enough client base to make it worthwhile for that company to walk in to that area and cut out their Agent.

Well it's how most of the companies work

I've seen way too many offer Sole Dealerships and then 8 months latter appoint another Dealer in the area.

The bigger the company the faster that they do things to suit their own ends plain & simple. Even if you have an agreement with them it means very little as they can tie you up in Cort Action for years till you go broke and then they still win.

In a case like that asked above why would anyone kill themselves building up another company's Sales?

Just doesn't make much sense to me.
