How to block Skype in my domain network

Hai Friends ,

I think u must be knowing about the Skype Its a free software to make internet call & for chating .But my Boss need to block the users who r using this software .I got a Domain set up in my Factory & i too have a Firewall running .
I need to block the users who R running the Skypee.exe.SO friends please help me by giving ur innovative ideas.

Network Type omain running on Windows 2000

With a Firewall running on it .

Never blocked skype myself, but this returns lots of suggestions.

You have a few options:

1. Use Wireshark to discover the initial IP Skype connect to in order to make calls then block sending any traffic to this IP on your firewall.

2. Block Port 1024, which is used by Skype. They were clever though and the app can also use 80 and 443, which obviously you don't want to block.

3. Use a GPO with a hash rule preventing the app from executing on your companies PCs.
