I havetwo sata drives, one I want for winxp, the second for win7.
I have xp on the c: drive and I installed win7 on the second drive. When I re-booted, a dos screen came up, giving me the option of booting into an earlier ver (XP) or win7.
I could not move the arrow to the earlier version (XP) and the system booted in win 7.
First I would remove your email address from your previous post or you will get spammed alot.
With the Keyboard it sounds to me like you have a USB keyboard attached to the system when it can take a PS2 (round connection) which can cause this.
You could try going into the BIOS and looking for a setting that has to do with a USB Keyboard support or something similar. Or you could find a keyboard with the PS2 connection (They are starting to get abit old but you can still buy them).
If you're asking for technical help, please be sure to include all your system info, including operating system, model number, and any other specifics related to the problem. Also please exercise your best judgment when posting in the forums--revealing personal information such as your e-mail address, telephone number, and address is not recommended.
