Search for "freeware DVD burner".

There are a couple of them out there.

Not sure what OS you want it for, so that's all I can give you.

Good luck.

Just one thing to remember here

When you burn your photo's to any Blank Optical Media you need to carefully store that media.

Kodak suggests that you reburn your images every 5 years under ideal conditions s the Dyes on the CD Blanks go off and you loose Picture Quality. I'm assuming that the same applies to DVD Blanks even the Archival Quality ones. But even still that means that you store the Burnt Blanks properly and do not expose them to Direct Sunlight, Chemicals or Heat. If you do not store these properly the Disc's will go off much sooner and you are much more likely to loose your Data/Pictures in this case.

depending on the OS

XP: 3rd party software, nero, roxio, ect.

Vista and 7,
1. insert a blank DVD into the DVD writer
2. double click on DVD drive under my computer
3. if you want to use the disc in a DVD player (i.e., watch them on a TV) select 'With a CD/DVD player', otherwise select 'Like a USB flash drive' (You may have to click a down button to get these options). put a name for the disc in the title box, then click next. once it has finished formatting, simply drag your photos onto the disc.

And if you use Nero, Roxio, or any of the others

Do Not save in Multi Session Mode as you will loose the Fists lot of Pictures that you have saved.

Copy what you want to a Blank Disc and finalize the Disc so that no more can be written to it. It may seem to waste a lot of space but the reality is that it secures your Data.
