How to cdr repair corrupted image?

I'm using CorelDraw X3. Through it I can't correctly open my file, I see unknown image instead my graphic.

So what did you make this image in X3?

The only time I ever see this is when I attempt to import a File Format that is incompatible with Corel Draw or the part of the suite like Photo Paint/Draw.

Just because both pieces of software come int he same package it doesn't mean that one can open the other unless you save the type of image in a form that the other can open. Then if you start using some of the minor things in Draw X3 like the Animation Tool it may mean that Photo Paint can not open that file as it was designed to edit photos not animations.
