How to change Admin Pwd in XP prof.

Hi,
one of the client changed admin pwd which was in workgroup. i need to install few applications but am unable to login into local machine. i went to google but it does't worked for me is there any other way to hack the password..

plz don't say change the windows screen saver logo with other and change the pwd in command prompt. it also did't worked for me..

This suite called ERD commander will allow you to create a bootable CD that is one of the best things an admin can have in his toolkit. Once you get the trial create the bootable cd and use the tool called "locksmith." Then proceed to give me those points.

I have had very good luck with Peter Nordahl's NT Password and Registry Editor Boot Disk. I have used it dozens of times on NT, XP, and Windows 2000 machines. Works evey time. It boots to a linux shell and runs a script which lets you quickly reset the admin password.
