How to change node type

By northwood ·
Is there a way to change the node type of a 2000 pro computer. Can it be changed in the registry?
For example, How can I set a client to be a
P-node only.

This is set in: HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\ServiceProvider, with the key name being Class. A value of 8 makes the computer an H-Node. The
Class value for B node is 1, for P node is 2, and for M node is 4.
