Hello...

The quick way is the "df" command:

# df
Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/hda2 16152764 2339472 12992776 16% /
/dev/hda1 101089 9323 86547 10% /boot
none 63028 0 63028 0% /dev/shm

To make it human readable use df -h.
#df -h

You can also find the size of directories via the du command. du -h makes it human readable.
#du -h <directory>

ls -lah lists all your files and directories with the size in human readable format.
#ls -lah
