heres what u do

by ismail.magued In reply to how to check motherboard ...

you power your pc off and unplug it
(note let an experienced technician do that)

the motherboard should be checked for evidence of a current with an om meter.

but again let an experienced technical do that
as the motherboard must b handled in a certain way.

did you do anything that might have caused any mechanical damage to anything on your motherboard i mean inadvertently.

lets see did you check your psu if it is working in full potential?
and did you check your hard disk to make sure it isnt inappropriately attached?

it seems that there is a hardware failure
that is causing your board not to respond.

hi
if you actually want to test the board without booting you will need a POST testing card
If you want to try testing whether it will boot try a live CD, linux or whatever or boot off your OS disk
cheers
