How to configure Win Server 2003 through a router/switch?

I have one PC running Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition, evaluation version. I’ve configured it according to the directions in the MCSE book. However, it is coming back with DNS/DHCP errors and no one on my wireless/wired router can get to the Internet while that PC is connected to it.
I have a switch, but I want to keep the wireless access.
    Any insight would be great;-)

Really, if you don’t specify what the errors are, what help can we offer you?

And the server is configured to do what? Is it the DNS server and DHCP server? Turn off DHCP in the router then. Configure the forwarders appropriately. If it is not providing these services as you say, ensure that they are turned off/not installed on the server.

What errors do the other clients receive? What errors does the server (which is just a client here, if I’m reading this correctly) receive?

I would say that on this Network you have another device issuing DHCP Addresses and when you add this Server tot he network you are getting 2 devices issuing DHCP Addresses which is causing issues.

Go into this servers settings and turn off DHCP Addressing and leave it that way and it should work when added to the network. 😉
