because i will only need this setup for about a week i don’t want to buy a switch or a router
so can i use an ad hoc wireless network to connect all three laptops (for sharing files and gaming)
if i can, can someone please walk me through it
if i can’t then can i use a crossover cable between two laptops (also for sharing and gaming)
and can someone please mention the steps needed
I know that all laptops would have different ips starting from 192.168.1.1 (for example) and the same subnet mask i just wanna make sure nothing else is needed
oh and they’re all vista
