I am using Windows 2000 on a Dell Latitude laptop and Windows 98 on a Compaq Presario desktop. I also have another desktop coputer with Windows ME. I have succesfully networked the two desktops, but when I try to network the laptop and the Compaq,I can’t figure it out. Could someone please explain how to network a Win2k and Win98 computer using only a CAT5 cable?
The Network card on the desktop is a SOHOware 10/100 PCI.
The card on the laptop is a Xircom.
I know this is vague, but any input will be appreiciated.
