I am using a Linksys Cable/DSL router. I used to have no problem using it in US. However, I am trying to use it in Hong Kong. It’s a ADSL service, and it’s using PPPoE technology. However, I can’t use the router to connect. Although I get the IP address and subnet mask, it’s missing the gateway. When I use a regular computer to connect and found out that the Gateway is set the SAME as the IP address. So, my question is how to use the PPPoe function in the router so that I can get the gateway manually/automatically the same as the IP address in the Linksys Router.
