I have an external HD (WesternDigital Book 250GB) that when I connect it to my PC with the USB it shows up as another HD instead of a removable device. I want to connect the WD to a DVD player with USB to watch movies on the big screen, but it does not work. I have a Firelite 80GB that works on the DVD player and shows up as a removable device on the PC.
Is there a way to convert the WD HD to show up as a removable device so that it works on the player?
