how to convert mp3s

i somehow wound up with 80 songs on a cd and all are read only is there anything i can do to get them back on my CD burner

go to my computer, select your cd drive with the 80 songs, i assume they are .mp3's - click on edit, click on select all, click on copy, navigate to the folder on the hard drive that you want them and click on paste - that will copy them there

Not sure what you are asking.
All files on a CD have the attribute automatically changed to read only.

If what you want to do is convert MP3 files into audio CD files, you need a prograsm referred to as an audio "ripper".
Some can only convert audio files to MP3's, but most can convert files both ways.
Then save the audio files on your hard drive, open up an audio CD session in your burner program, and burn them onto an audio CD.

You can purchase ripping software at most electronics stores, or download some from your favorite download site.

You can use Musicmatch to convert mp3 from cd back to your pc or make a cd that will play on any cd player

well i assumed you were burning a mp3 to a cd and the process stopped with only 80 songs inside and you would like to add more file in . unless U used cd r/w you cant do anything else, once its stop and thats it U cant write more in.
