How to copy iPod music to PC

Solution 2. Copy music from iPod to the computer via iTunes

Step 1. Connect your iPod to PC and run iTunes.

In the iPod management screen, scroll down to Options and check "Enable disk use.".

Now your iPod will show up as a drive on your Desktop.

Step 3. Open My Computer.
You will find your iPod under Devices With Removable Storage, then click and open it.
Step 4. Open Tools > Folder Options. Click the View tab and check "Show hidden files and folders." , then select OK.
Step 5. Open the iTunes folder.
Click iPod_Controls > Music. Select all of the folders and drag them to a new folder you created on your hard drive. How long it will take depend on how much music you're transferring.
Step 6: Choose all folders again, right-click and select Properties. Uncheck "Hidden" and then close this window.
