How to copy Quick Launch items to new Toolbar

By Absolutely ·
I want to create a 'floating' Windows Toolbar because that type can be set to diappear when I'm not looking for a new program to open, thus freeing more desktop space - a considerable amount in my case.

I also want to copy ALL the applications in my current Quick Launch Toolbar to the new Toolbar. Is there a folder in the C: drive that contains this list of shortcuts? I looked briefly in Documents and Settings, and don't want to search any longer. Who knows where the 'Toolbar' variable is located?

Thanks in advance!

what about for 'all users'?

I can change any single user easily with this, however there is no Internet Explorer in the Microsoft folder under All Users. Is there a way to create a standard quicklaunch bar for all users?

...the icon in the Quick Launch Toolbar and select Copy. Click somewhere else like in the desktop and select Paste. That operation copies the shortcut.
