I worked for Cleveland clinics as a contractor and something they had on all their machines except admin workstations was something called “Gridlaunch” They were using altiris. But the grid launch was like a webpage and it covered the entire screen and it had various boxes with links to email, google, different hospital apps like synapse, and many other programs that were on the local machine already installed. The workstations dont allow access unless you have admin rights and there were 2 ways as a tech we could get to the admin tools. 1 was you press and hold shift and click on an area on the top left of the gridlaunch, And the other there was a question mark that you press shift and click on to and a box will come up asking for your NT credentials. I have been searching trying to find out what and how they did this because I am working at a a hospital and something like this is needed very badly. Can someone point me in the right direction please? The base o/s was windows xp
