I have been with this company about 9 years, in the course of the 9 years I have had good performance appraisals. The past 2 years I have been under a managers that is very unprofessional. They gossip about me to other co-workers which has drawn a wedge between me and my co-workers. I have no clue on why this is happening. It is at the point that I am about to leave and sue the company. It has gotten to the point where everytime someone laugh or talk I think it is about me. Because a manager seat across from a co-work, she gets all of the gossip and spreads it among everyone else. I do not know what to do, I can not afford to quit at this time I am 61 years old and this place do not have a pension plan. I have spoken to HR about this but I believe I have made it worse among the managers. I hope someone can tell what I can do. I am very hurt and feel I do not have a friend.
