How to display image on Crystal Report 8.5?

By myblob ·

I am using Crystal Report 8.5 and it is my first time to use the reporting tool. I really need someone to help me do the report. :-)

I need to display the image save on the Oracle 9i database to Crystal Report and the report I have created in CR 8.5 will be then called using PowerBuilder 10.

Btw, the path of the image is saved on the table ('c:\imagefolder\test.bmp').

Any help/idea will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

You can not dynamically change the picture attributes until Crystal 11. ALl previous version will not let you. However, an alternative, which is fairly straightforward, is to actually store the image as a BLOB rather than a path. Crystal 8.5 does have the ability to load BLOBS directly from the DB.

Hope this helps,
