How to downgrade windows vista to xp in HP Pavilion dv2700? please help me in this regard.

You wipe the drive and install the other OS. It's that simple. However, before you attempt it, make sure you have drivers for everything in the machine. Some of the newer computers don't come with XP drivers, so you may have problems finding them. Start by looking at the manufacturer's web site.

regarding to downgrade from vista to xp, i already installed xp with sata driver but at the end of the installation window can not start up just bluescreen appear.
pls,in hp pavillian dv2000. help!!!

Check SATA settings in BIOS

Try to disable SATA native mode from BIOS, then reinstall XP. this should work.

Drivers

Check your the drivers first, because most probably you will never find them
And as ThumbsUp2 said have a clean installation for XP.
But make sure that you have the recovery CD, or make one if you don't have, because you will back to Vista, or simply upgrade to Windows 7
