    How to Ecommerce enable your website

    Does anyone know of a web service that enables customers to buy goods/services from my current website? I really just to be able to add a button to the existing site that handles all the back end stuff. How does that work? Price for setup, etc..

      You have a variety of options for these services. I’d suggest looking at http://www.digitalriver.com as a starting/education point. Many other companies provide similar services (including many “merchant account” providers), but digitalriver has a breadth of services that might help you find a way to define exactly what you are looking for.

      A common misconception about merchant accounts is that your site & credit card processing have to be hosted by the same company. This is not the case at all.

      If you’re serious about learning how this stuff works, email me and I’ll be glad to explain it all beyond the 1000 word limitation that I have here.
