how to edit the registry in dos mode

hi, pls tell me how to edit the registry in dos mode without login into os

need to edit the key

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

its urgent, pls give any solution

Use the Remote Registry function from an administrative console.

This tool will give you access to the registries on other systems using a domain administrator-level privilege.

go to the command prompt and type
reg /?
this should give you what you need. I use these in scripts

Judging from your previous post, I?d like to offer you a few options.

1. Boot to Safe Mode.

2. Boot to Safe Mode with Command Prompt and type REGEDIT.


3. Connect your HD to any Win XP system and access and edit your Registry.
Refer to http://tinyurl.com/59szn and modify Method 2. Instead of installing Windows, remove your HD and connect it to a Windows XP system.

4. Use a third-party SW (ERD Commander, for example).

You can change regkeys with it and more..
