I have a company laptop that restricts changes to Internet Options->LAN Settings (grayed out). I have recently gained admin access to the computer to install Mozilla and is still NOT able to access any public website when not connecting to the corp network. In fact when I connect to my home network, it shows as “Corp Network” in the system tray icon. Therefore I believe there must been some Group Policies to restrict this. Can someone please advise if it is possbile to manipulate the Group Policies and other Settings via the registry?
As a frequent traveler for my job, I really hate to bring 2 laptops all the time, therefore I would like to think of a way to perhaps swap in/out 2 reg file to use the internet for personal/business environment whenever needed.
