We’re preparing to roll out some w2k desktops, and don’t want to give our end users full Administrator control over their machines. Power User would seem to work fine, except that our people need to be able to change their network properties (we have travelling road teams that frequently need to plug into other people’s networks). By default, Power Users cannot modify their network properties.
We tried granting Full Control to HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Network, but no joy.
Anyone know how (or if) we can do this?
