Without disassembling header info and tracking it back through the IP hops you can take a much simpler but just as effective action.

If the mail is from a private domain, you can do a WHOIS database search
( )to determine the administrator or owners name.

Mail from hosts such as earthlink, yahoo, hotmail, shaw etc. will return the email providers contact info and most importantly the administrators name and contact info, but not the actual sender.

I visited as they usually offer an ABUSE contact address , I couldn't find one specifically for email abuse but they do have a link for reporting email fraud:

They will analyze the email and act upon it appropriately, if neccessary involving authorities and cancelling the user account.
This is especially true if any LEGAL implications surround thier users email.

I did a simple WHOIS search for and here's all I got:

Whois Server:
Referral URL:

Unfortunately no contact info is offered other tha melbourneit, to which am email may help if you run dry.
I'd try contacting them through the fraud link above.

If this email threatens your peron or family, property etc. directly OR indirectly, contact your local police, MOST police agencies have dedicated email abuse departments.

If this mail is just ongoing harrassing email you can create an address blocking rule in your mail client to block * this will block ALL mail from earthlink though because of the * wild card character.

If it is really offensive, rude or threatening and not just SPAM or JUNK mail, contact yor police department and do your part to stop email abuse.

Good luck,
