How to fix battery draining issues after the latest Android update?

After updating my Samsung Galaxy S21 (Exynos variant, Android 13) to the latest version, I’ve noticed a significant drop in battery life. My phone used to last all day, but now it’s draining much faster, even with minimal usage. Has anyone else with similar specs experienced this problem after the update, and are there any fixes that worked for you?

  Did you notice that by default, the latest Android update only charges the battery to 80% or 85% (user changeable) instead of the original 100%?
  
  I would suggest that you go into your battery settings and find which applications have the most usage.
  
  I used to use the same Samsung model phone.

  We factory reset the phone, don’t load up on apps and retest.
  Also, as Tom pointed out, check the battery setting of 80 to 85%. Set it to 100.

  restart your device, and also check your battery usage for power-hungry apps, and update all apps also disable unnecessary background activity.

  Said when 100% like 2min or less cut 99% when unplug drain faster when am use phone, when start to drain faster, there way to use understand this system I smartphone galaxy A15 . When you get back perfect,normal. It act weird. Kindly run diagnostic to show problem. Kindly need assistance. Performance troubleshooting approval
