I am assisting a client in the recovery of a personal machine, Every time we attempt to power the machine on there is no display at all. I have attempted to erase CMOS to no avail. There is a new power supply and a new video card installed however the problem occurred before either install. I am in possession of the original motherboard disc. Can someone please provide me with instructions as to how to flash the BIOS? I tried the company site and it has not helped me at all. As an afterthought the client mentioned that he was downloading updates and when the machine rebooted it went to a screen filled with periods and the machine was shut down because it was not going anywhere.
