How to force Javascript and HTML to work

By vmm ·
How to force already loaded Javascript functions and pieces of HTML to work during loading page containing them? I.e. to display database query processing by server?

How to force Javascript and HTML to work

I think you're out of luck. I don't know of a way to do this (though it would be nice . . .) I'm not sure about other web servers, but Internet Information Server (IIS) processes pages using this order:

First, process any server-side includes (i.e. #include file=blabla.asp)

Second, process all ASP server-side script

Third, process and display all HTML

Unfortunately, using the above method, NO HTML gets displayed to your browser until ALL ASP script is done processing. Hence, yourusers get a blank screen until the database query is done.
