The simplest way is to use redirection for the output of the tree command.

      Type: tree > mycputree.txt

The output of the tree command will go into the file called mycuptree.txt.

Then you can use wordpad, notepad, edit or any other text editor program to open and print it.

Go to the command prompt and type:

tree > prn (for a tree listing directly to local printer)

      or:

tree | more (for screen viewing)

      or:

tree > file.txt (for placing into a file and printing or manipluating later)

Karen Kenworthy has a Free utility “Directory Printer”, that works quite well for this. You can find her website at: http://www.karenware.com/powertools/powertools.asp
