How to get rid of missing Outlook addin

By anasri ·
I've recently reformatted my hard disk and do a clean installation of Windows XP. After installing Office XP with SP2 I tranferred my old settings using the Files and Settings Trasfer Wizard. However having done that I get an error message everytimeI start Outlook XP which says 'C:\Documents and Settings\my name\Application Data\Microsoft\Addins\D:\PROGRA~1\MICROS~1\Office10\Addins\outbak.dll' is not a valid Office add-in.
Can anybody tell me how to get rid of this message?

How to get rid of missing Outlook addin

Hi,

Try deleting HKCU\software\microsoft\office\outlook\addins\microsoft.outlookbackup.1

The personal folders backup add-in should be available for download from microsoft.com
