How to hide OS X.5 from Network Neighborhood

by jcs_netadmin . Updated 17 years, 5 months ago

I have been searching for the past two days for a command that is the equilivent to the MS command for hiding a computer from network neighborhood (net config server /HIDDEN:YES). I currently have over 1500 windows xp systems that I have hidden from Network Neighborhood however I have around 200 Mac OSX.5.6 systems that still show up. I have tried modifying the smb.conf file in the /etc directory but now luck. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks
