Hello all,
Yesterday I found 2 viruses, nmdfgds0.dll and olhrwef.exe which were in system32, they made me unable to view hidden files.
Kaspersky saw them but couldn’t remove them, Norton didn’t see them at all, spybot found some other less dangerous crap and removed them, superantispyware removed both viruses many times but they kept coming back as soon as they are removed.
But then I accidentally found a free 20m program called Smart Virus Remover, it removed all of them as soon as i ran it lol, wow ..
Anyhow, the hidden files issue is now fixed and I no longer have any viruses but my problem now is that now all the hidden files are showing and I can’t make them hidden again !! When I go to “folder options” it looks like this >

I know it’s probably going to need to edit the registry, so here I’m asking for directions :).
