How to install post script drivers

We need to download post script and fiery drivers
for a Ricoh Aficio 4006 printer.We recently migrated to a W2K server. We know where to obtain drivers, however not sure if the drivers should be installed on the print server or the client, or how to do either. The client need to have a choice of different drivers when using Adobe Photoshop 4.0
