how to install windows xp on a scsi disk

the installation will not reconise that the workstation has a hard disk

Place them on a 2.5 floppy disk (put it in the machine), when your loading the OS, you will see a prompt to hit F6 to load RAID/disk drivers. Hit F6, load the drivers (from the 2.5 floppy), and continue on with the installation. If you still do not see the drives you loaded the wrong drivers. Best of luck!

You need the SCSI Drivers for the SCSI Adapter and the OS that you areusing

You copy these tot he Root of a 2.5 Inch Floppy and when the first blue screen on the Windows Installer appears press the F6 Key and wait till you are prompted then insert the Floppy and press Enter.

If you don';t have a floppy drive you can make a Slipstreamed Install Disc by following the directions in this TR Article
