You can use a partition manager

by StefanVerster In reply to How to install windows xp ...

You can use partition magic or similar software and create a new partition. You will first need to resize the current partition size and then convert the leftover space to a second partition. The second partition will now have a drive letter assigned to it so now you can insert the windows xp cd and boot from it and just choose the second partition as the installation destination.Hope it helped you.
