I have a windows 2000 advanced server running in mixed mode. I NT4.0 on an additional server. When I install the OS as a BDC, I am unable to add the BDC to the domain.
If I do not add the Computer account to the W2K server, either as a DC or as a regular computer, I get an error from the BDC indicating that ” The machine account for this computer either does not exist or is inaccessible.” When I do add the computer account, I get an error indicating that the account already exists. So how canyou install a BDC and add it to a W2K domain?
