How to join new internet connection to virtual machine?

By jdonkersgoed ·
I've got a T1 connection (dynamic IP address) coming in to a DLink WebSmart switch. Our office uses VOIP, so the multiple IP phones are plugged in to the switch and each phone has a connection to a computer for internet and domain access. I've set up a server with a Server 2008 Core installation and am running a full 2008 installation on a virtual machine using Hyper-V. The server has two NICs in it...both are currently plugged into the switch. One is used by the server core installation and the other for the virtual network used by the VM. I managed to get everything working and clients can view network folders on the VM, etc.

Now, I would also like to use the VM (or create a new one) to run as a web server. As a result, I had to get a new ADSL line in order to have a static IP from the service provider. How can I join this in? As far as I can tell, I need to keep the current two NICs plugged in to the T1 network. I'm pretty inexperienced at networking stuff so if someone could please help I would be grateful.
